Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository is a repository for collecting publication of the university. With the objective of preserving the university’s publication systematically according to international standards. For using sustainable and disseminate work to society in a concrete way.
Kasetsart University announces Policy of Information Resources Management and Preservation of Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository. For the institutions and departments underneath Kasetsart University on all the campuses to cooperate with the development of Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository continuously, which is the part of the mission statement the following guideline operation:
1. All institutions should be conscious of the importance of storage and submission data of a personnel's publication to the Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository continuously. To define into part of the mission statement and assign an explicit responsible person for the duties and responsibilities of the following:
1.1 All campuses of the institutions are responsible for discovering, collecting, submitting, and revising in repositories, keeping updated information and following the standard continuously. Include defining the right to publish work correctly and clearly.
1.2 The library is responsible for the Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository development, coordinating and management system, specifying the standards for cataloguing, quality control, publishing work following the terms of the right licences, and preservation for information following the preservation plan of information resources. To access information continuously and utilization for the long term, including service and extending the publication of Kasetsart University for reference and dissemination at national and international level.
1.3 Office of Computer Services, Kasetsart University. To manage and maintain the system of file server to use efficiently and continuously.
2. University administrators, deans and directors of institutions have role following:
2.1 To supervise the preservation and development of Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository.
2.2 To assess the submission of publication of institutions that have quality and standardization.
2.3 To extend and support the utilization of Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository following ethical principles.
